Iconic Film and Commercial Director Tony Scott Takes His Own Life

Tony Scott, director of Top Gun, Domino, Man on Fire, and numerous other films committed suicide today by jumping off a bridge in LA. His career was spectacular and this is a great loss for the film community. One of the greatest additions he made to the advertising community was his episode in the BMW Films series. Short 10 minute action packed films for the BMW brand that can only be described as epic.

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends in this trying time and we here at the Egotist will greatly miss his talent and love for filmmaking.
